Two of the major venues of last year's Olympic Games find new summer uses.

The ATHENS OLYMPIC STADIUM will host the Super Special Stage of the Acropolis Rally of Greece on the 23rd of June. This will be the first time in the history of the WRC that a stage will take place within a stadium that has hosted the Olympic Games. The circuit will be 1.2 km long and cars will race side-by-side in pairs, finishing after two complete laps.

KARAISKAKI STADIUM, on the other hand, has been converted into an open-air cinema for the off-season summer months. According to the stadium's administration, "Cine Karaiskaki" features the largest screen in Europe. Apart from movies, the Piraeus stadium will also host a number of concerts, starting with the Scorpions on the 18th of July.
